about Ella
Hello! My name is Ella. I am a compassionate and diligent 15-year-old student. With a love for learning and assisting others, I plan to teach upper-level mathematics. College Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Calculus II are some of the college math courses I have completed thus far. While math is my favorite subject area, I am ready to assist in other subjects as well.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor adventures like hiking, ropes courses, caving, and whitewater rafting. I also enjoy baking, cooking, drawing, calligraphy, playing the ukulele, playing the piano, photography, volunteering, and hanging out with friends.
For the past four years, I have had ample opportunities to coach or assist students from kindergarten through 12th grade. I currently volunteer with a group of third through fifth-grade girls, acting as a mentor and role model. Working with middle school students, I have been able to help them understand more advanced topics by breaking the concepts down into less complex pieces. I also assist high school students at my church, where I help them get connected. This is my second year tutoring with Willow Way Tutoring and Enrichment, and I am excited to assist!
